Job Description
Summary:
Responsible for the daily production and coordination of art setup and design, including but not limited too, sign layouts and design center displays and prints. Office Administrative duties also included, comfortable working in a small office environment and multi-tasking.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday
9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Pay Range:
$20 - $22 per hour starting rate
Review and other benefits upon completion of 90 day period
Experience and Qualifications:
Ability to operate Adobe Illustrator, and design programs, Photoshop, Microsoft Works and email
One to two years experience in graphic design or press press work and/or hold certification or degree in graphic design
Industry experience in millwork, cabinetry or sign production (silk-screening, sand-blasting,and wood fabrication) a plus
Ability to work effectively under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed on assignments
Friendly, optimistic self-starter, with flexible "Can Do" spirit
Responsibilities:
Responsible for designing/revising and printing setup for graphic design jobs assigned by Art Production Manager, including signage and sales center items
Maintains daily job production log and backing up daily work
Adheres to and/or improves internal production procedures, policies, and deadlines
Assures accuracy of all layouts and designs before submitting to Art Production Manager for approval
Establishes and maintains client job files with accurate design time and vendors used
Reports and informs Art Production Manager of production issues, problems or achievements
Assists with ordering press-printing jobs, office supplies and vendor supplies
Responsible for operating Ioline Cutter and monitoring vinyl inventory needs
Responsible for Flexi Letter vinyl setup and the cutting of vinyl for signage
Learns products and materials used in the fabrication of a design
