Personal Assistant/Caregiver - Los Altos Hills, CA

A wonderful couple in Los Altos, CA are looking for an experienced personal assistant/caregiver to join their team working primarily for/with the female principal. The general schedule will be Tuesday through Saturday, 3pm-10/10:30pm, with some flexibility for schedule changes given the proper notice.

Responsibilities

Establish a more organized daily routine/schedule

Manage daily schedule

Organize office, closets, bathroom at all times

Drive to doctor's appointments, hair/nail appointments, shopping, meetings with friends

Buy gifts and books for family and friends

Recommend good movies, TV shows daily

Clothes selection and packing for trips

Do errands

Light housekeeping to maintain organized and tidy areas

Assist Principal with daily walking and core strengthening exercises

Assist Principal with daily nutrition and calorie management

Assist Principal in the shower

Help blow-dry and style Principal’s hair

Help Principal with makeup for social events

Make light breakfast for Principal

Make meals, occasionally

Serve meals cooked by others, occasionally

Making the beds

Offer companionship

Visits to book readings, events, shows

Nature walks

Conversations on various topics of interest

Qualifications

Organized

Proactive

Compassionate

Able to work both independently and on a team in a fully staffed home

Requirements

Experience as a personal assistant

Some experience in a caregiving role

Able to drive and have a valid license and clean driving record

Travel with family to Hawaii, Europe, or other destinations for a few weeks at a time, 3-4 times/year

Travel with family for a few days, 3-4 times/year (2nd home, 2 hours away)

Salary and Benefits

Hourly rate is $45-$60, and is based on experience.
