Job Description
We're looking for Industrial HVAC/Refrigeration Service Technicians in the Indianapolis, IN area to join our growing team at frēijē. The technician will provide preventative maintenance, startup new equipment, troubleshoot and diagnose, and repair various commercial and industrial HVAC/Refrigeration equipment. This role reports to the Industrial Service Manager. This work will be performed on industrial sites such as pharmaceutical manufacturers, power plants, and chemical facilities.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC/R equipment
Inspect/troubleshoot/evaluate/ repairs of HVAC/R equipment
Document work performed and submit on smart device (IPAD or phone)
Assist with providing information to quote various repair work
Maintain accurate inventory of equipment and repair parts
Explain HVAC issues and recommendations of repairs with customers
Adhere to all safety procedures
Required qualifications:
3+ years of HVAC/R Service Technician experience
EPA certification (Type I & II) minimum
High level of safety and security required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work with others to complete tasks
Understanding and broad knowledge of tools, safety, and electronic equipment within this trade
Must be punctual, adhere to daily schedule and able to handle schedule changes
Ability to lift up to 50lbs, use ladders, and aerial lifts
Valid driver's license, insurable driving record, and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records check
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
