BASIC FUNCTION
Position Overview
The Business Account Executive position is both a Sales and Customer Service role. The Business Account Executive helps maintain and grow existing accounts. The role also involves working on leads and developing new accounts. Through efficient dialogue, this individual will position Insight as the “Solutions Integrator of choice”. This role is a key component in driving profitable revenue for Insight.
What you’ll do at Insight
Initiate and maintain long-term relationships with our customers
Profile leads; convert leads into buying accounts
Meet outbound productivity metrics such as dials and talk times; meet monthly revenue and profit goals
Work with internal departments to ensure the processing of customer requests and company procedures
Develop online sites for accounts
Respond to customers in a timely manner through chat, phone, and email
Provide accurate data entry into our tools (SMART, CMT, ClientLink)
Assist with Insight Outbound campaigns
What you’ll need to join Insight
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
At least 1-2 years of working experience in the related field is required
Proficiency in the English Language
Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
Previous experience selling computer technology highly encouraged. Strong knowledge of IT products and services preferably
Strong decision making and analytical abilities
Has a pleasant, patient, and friendly attitude
Willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overtime when needed
Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality
With good computer skills – MS Office, Internet
