Job Description

Title and Location: Robotics Engineer in Santa Clara, CA.

Job Responsibilities

Design and implement algorithms and tools for sensor fusion for self-driving vehicles

Design and develop subsystems for mapping, localization, and object tracking for self-driving vehicles

Improve perception and vehicle planning with multi-body kinematics for tractors with multiple sections and implements

May work remotely; periodic time in office required; must live within commuting distance of the office.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Robotics or related field or foreign academic equivalent

1 year of experience

Required skills: Write unit tests using Python and C++ to ensure production-level quality of code that runs on physical robots (1 year)

improve and develop production-level end-to-end simulation tools for validation of real world robotic applications (1 year)

Develop efficient algorithms deployed on autonomous robots using object oriented programming in Python or C++ (1 year)

Estimate and utilize an object's pose and state in a camera-based perception system (1 year)

Conduct independent research and development work in motion analysis, behavior planning, and constraint handling for autonomous robotics applications (1 year)

Design, evaluate and establish robotic system architecture and application programming interfaces (1 year)

Use applied math to design and implement algorithms to handle 3D geometry and kinematics relevant to the robot and the objects it interacts with (1 year)
