Front Desk Coordinator/Medical Assistant

This is a Fort Worth aesthetic plastic surgery practice seeking a bilingual full time highly motivated, personable Front Office Coordinator/Medical Assistant. As the first greeting potential patients hear, they will maintain a happy and friendly attitude and create a cheerful and welcoming atmosphere for the office. Preferred applicants should have previous front office experience in a medical office, and be detail-oriented with exceptional follow-up abilities. Applicants must also be self-motivated, present professionally, and be well organized.

Pay: $20-$25/hour (Based on experience)

ResponsibilitiesFront Office Coordinator/Medical Assistant

Qualified applicants will be responsible for greeting patients, checking patients in and out, collecting co-pays, verifying insurance, answering phones, scheduling and confirming appointments, and any other clerical duties as required. Back office duties will be to clean and stock rooms, answer patient calls, handle referrals and assist with procedures and electronic documentation. New grads are welcome to apply.

Schedule:

This position is full time, M-F 8:00 am to 5:00 pm One or two late days per month is required. Specific pay will be discussed during the interview process.

Required SkillsFront Office Coordinator/Medical Assistant

Must be professional and polished

Strong listening skills and excellent follow-up technique

Excellent communication skills: face to face, phone, and written.

Strong organization skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

The ability to quickly learn the services offered by our practice

The ability to educate patients and explain procedure information clearly to non-medical clientele.

Ability to use Microsoft Office (Outlook/email, Excel, and Microsoft Word).

Ability to view and understand information written in a patient’s medical chart.

Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Bilingual in English/Spanish
