The primary objective of the Business Development Executive is to hold $ target and to manage a team to achieve the targets.

BDE will prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising, or other means of generating interest from potential clients.They must then plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company.

They must develop a rapport with new clients and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship. They are also required to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients.

He may manage the activities of others responsible for developing business for the company. Strategic planning is a key part of this job description, since it is the business executive responsibility to develop the pipeline of new business coming into the company. This requires a thorough knowledge of the market.

Responsibilities:

1.New Business Development

2.Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.

3.An independent contributor should be able to source on their own leads, position Acufore services, close the deal and manage the accounts.

4.Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.

5.Client Retention

6.Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.

7.Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.

8.Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.

9.Present business development training and mentoring to business developers and other internal staff.

10.Diligent use of Zoho to track and maintain account data.

Skills and Experience:

1.Any Graduate/Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2+ year of engineering services sales experience.

2.Expertise in acquiring clients from North American and European markets.

3.Exposure to any one of the domains like Oil & Gas, Process Industries, Petrochemicals, Energy, Biofuels, Water Treatment etc.

4.Excellent written and oral communication as well as effective presentation skills.

5.Ability to present business plans and sales strategies to senior and executive management.
