Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Instrumentation
Experience: 4-8 years in Marine and Offshore Industry
Job Description
•
Understanding of Electrical and Instrumentation engineering design principles and practices.
•
Proficient in E3 software for Schematic, Panel design and Library database and AutoCAD.
•
Experience with the design of offshore/marine equipment.
•
Experience working with class societies such as DNV, ABS, CCS, Rina related to Offshore/Marine.
•
Design, modify and optimize equipment from existing product portfolio.
•
Discuss and provide input to technical solutions with Technical Advisors, Product Owners and Discipline Managers.
•
Proficient in Electrical components and selection for Switchgear, Drives, Starters, PLC/HMI etc.
•
Perform electrical calculations and analyze existing systems to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement and propose corrective actions.
•
Maintain a high level of knowledge in the field of electrical and instrumentation engineering as well as class requirements, international standards, and country regulation regarding product design.
•
Communicate technical deliveries both internally and externally.
•
Deliver designs on budget, time and quality.
•
Report progress, identify project risk and suggest mitigating actions.
•
Attention to detail and willingness to continuous improvement.
•
Collaborative with developed multicultural communication skills.
•
Good technical English skills, both written and verbal.
•
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
