The FireWorks Project Managers (PMs) are responsible for overseeing and managing NGFW Security projects for Cisco customer. Project Managers are expected to coordinate with Cisco CX Centers, the CX technical team, Account teams, and customers for the Cisco Firepower/Secure Firewall software upgrades. FireWorks PMs are expected to do the project management with respect to Project Schedule, Risk Analysis, Stakeholder engagement, communication, managing resources, and following the collaborative approach. Monitor and control the project progress with regard to the project scope.

Whom You’ll Work With:

Reporting to the Project Management organization of Cisco Customer Experience, the Security Fireworks Project Manager will work with a high-performing team of pre-sales and delivery Security engineers who have a deep focus on scoping and delivering valuable solutions to our customers. A Fireworks Project Manager spends most of their time collaborating with all project stakeholders, such as customers, engineers, the account team, and the program team, to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction. The role will involve work with different customers from different industries on a daily basis.

Who You Are:

Applicants should have significant knowledge of Project Management in security, as well as a proven track record in handling designing, and deploying IT infrastructure projects. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to deliver on the following responsibilities:

Fireworks Services Delivery:

Working with the team to manage transformation with a focus on Firewall upgrades

Setup a call with a customer and convince (assure that T-shoot files (input date) will be provided.) them to provide the T-Shoot files (Input data)

Coordinate with the Team for the analysis of TS files and prepare the Method of Procedures (MOP) as per the desired software version.

Explain to the customer about the value, operation excellence, and efficiency that can be achieved after upgradation.

Clear all the doubts and queries of customers.

Get the MOP validated and approved by the customer.

Coordinate with the customer for the Change window.

Coordinate with the team for the upgrades and upgrades monitoring.

Adhere to and report progress back to global program operations

Fulfill the Project Acceptance Criteria, and adhere to the Definition of Done (DoD)

Successful completion of customer project scope

Required Skills:

This is a Project Management role, requiring a minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT Infrastructure projects, working with large Enterprise entities.

Requirements include:

Legal right to work in the designated theater and/or country

Experience in Project Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & controlling and closing.

Experience with a wide range of infrastructure technologies, such as routing and switching, and wireless.

Detailed understanding of Project Management.

Proper English written and verbal communication skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate effectively with customer technical staff and management.

Proven leadership skills and experience working with large cross-functional teams with diverse cultures across geographic boundaries and time zones

Solid understanding and experience with customer-facing project management

Ability to lead, run, and support delivery teams, coordinate activities, innovate and seek continuous improvement on delivery quality and standards, and provide critical insights as to project and program direction
