Sr AWS Technical Architect

Experience: 12 Years to 18 Years

Minimum 10+ years experience in AWS - Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)

Build technical design for the application high availability and review the solutions provided in cloud platform, hosted virtualization platform and infrastructure applications, to maintain the operation continuity of applications.

Understanding on AWS CloudFormation Templates and executions

Integrate AWS or other KMS, HSM with AWS data services for building secure data solutions.

Provision and automate cloud services AWS Compute solutions(EC2), AWS Storage solutions (S3, EBS, Glacier), AWS Networking solutions (VPC, Route 53, ELB)

Automate the backup and retention of Cloud instance and snapshot backups in AWS for robust data management and retention

Hands-on experience with EC2, ECS, ELB, EBS, S3, VPC, IAM, SQS, RDS, Lambda, Cloud Watch, Storage Gateway, Cloud formation, Elastic Beanstalk and Autoscaling

Design the overall Virtual Private Cloud VPC environment including server instance, storage instances, subnets, high availability zones, etc

Experience in guiding the classification, plan, implementation, growth, adoption and compliance to enterprise architecture strategies, processes and standards

Ability to design and manage cloud-based infrastructures to deliver the required performance, security and availability requirements

Expertise in architecture blueprints and detailed documentation. Very good billing knowledge of AWS components

Proficient in working with high availability environment along with Database skills - Connectivity between database and applications

Ability to drive the standard methodologies and market trends pertaining to Cloud and overall industry

Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work

Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management

Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Demonstrated expertise in scripting skills - Python Java, PowerShell, and Linux shell scripting

Working knowledge of IT Disaster Recovery principles

Very good understanding of Application functionality and its integration with AWS cloud infrastructure ( basic understanding of Agile would be added advantage )

Advanced knowledge of AWS networking concepts and technologies including AWS Control Tower.

Experience with core AWS Services including EC2, ELB, ASG, VPC, S3, CloudTrail

Ability to design, implement, and manage cloud-based networks.

Clear understanding of Transit Gateway is must. TGW concepts including Transit gateway routable, transit gateway peering.

Troubleshooting knowledge on traffic flow, VPC flow log analysis.

Ability to analyze network behavior, performance and application issues using standard tools at a packet level

Knowledge of cloud security protocols and best practices.

Advanced knowledge of and experience with networking and network protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, routing, Palo Alto firewalls, Inflobox, DNS, DHCP, F5 LTM, SSH, VPNs), IP routing protocols including RIP, BGP, OSPF, IP Multicast, MPLS

Cisco ACI and SDN architecture including APIC

Routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, GRE, IPSEC, VRF, MPLS etc.

Experience with SDN, SD-WAN products and services, Working knowledge of structured cabling systems and network facilities.

Strong WAN experience managing global network infrastructure.

Network function virtualization, VMware hypervisor, HCI platforms such as Cisco Hyperflex

Experience with Policy Based Routing, Quality of Service, netflow, Wireless 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, virtual networks, NAT, ACL controls, Web Security/URL Filtering, IPSec, IDS / Intrusion Prevention System (IPS), Malware Prevention, SIEM, IPSec, vulnerability assessment and intrusion detection, DDoS protection.
