Summary
The IT PMO Analyst is responsible for performing, maintaining and continuous improvement of the Project Management Office systems, tools and reports used to support Project Management, Financial Controls, Resource Management and Stakeholder Reporting. This is a critical role in supporting the IT PMO in delivering predictable and flawless execution of programs, projects and initiatives.
Detailed Description
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
Create and maintain PMO systems and tools
Maintain PMO processes and templates
Assist with and monitor project qualification efforts by ensuring completion of business cases, cost-benefit analyses, resource plans and project schedules
Assist with facilitating stage gate reviews and management process for reviewing/approving project readiness for advancement to next phase
Support management of project portfolio via internal toolsets and reports and provide metrics, reports and dashboards related to projects and programs
Collect reporting documentation for regular PMO governance meetings
Collect data for project KPI reporting as well as project trend analyses
Collect data for project KPI reporting as well as project trend analyses
Assist with assessing general health of programs/projects
Support Project Managers in collection and reporting of project status/risk
Manage and document regular project reporting meetings
Effectively manage segments of a larger project with limited supervision
Manage all aspects of small projects through the project lifecycle, including project scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs and change
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies
Ability to manage time, be organized, and work with minimal supervision

Ability to manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding time frames with attention to detail
Able to work cross-functionally with diverse teams on various topics
Knowledge of and ability to work within a global corporate environment is required. Highly collaborative
Excellent documentation skills including proofreading to ensure accuracy of content
Strong communication and presentation skills (listening, written, and verbal)
Physical Demands
Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
Typical Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience working in a process oriented environment with heavy process interaction, process ownership and improvement responsibility
Typical Education
Post-secondary education or University degree in one of following:
Computer Science/Business Administration/Commerce/Engineering is preferred
