Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for installing, assembling, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in our industrial setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

Installation and Assembly: Erect, install, and assemble machinery and equipment according to specifications, utilizing hand tools, power tools, hoists, cranes, and precision measuring instruments.

Maintenance and Repair: Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure proper functionality. Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning machinery and equipment, identifying and replacing defective parts as necessary.

Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to understand machinery layouts and assembly procedures.

Precision Calibration: Align and calibrate machinery and equipment parts to achieve maximum operational efficiency.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of machinery installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Millwright or similar role within an industrial setting.

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and precision measuring instruments.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to machinery and equipment.
