Resident Engineer(s)

Job Description

Rohadfox Construction Control Services is currently seeking a Sr. Resident Engineer and a Resident Engineer for the ongoing Joint Venture 10yr project at the Atlanta Airport. We are looking for (3) resident engineers with specifications in ARCHITECTURAL & ELECTRICAL/SYSTEMS.

The positions require you agree to be relocated to the Atlanta Metro area if offered the position. We offer full benefits including a 401k and competitive pay. Pay will depend upon level of experience. The following are summaries of job & requirements of the position(s):

Sr. Resident Engineer-Manager of large-scale complex construction contracts responsible for coordinating efforts of the contractors during construction, closeout, and occupancy

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably a civil discipline Registered Professional Engineer; or Certified Construction Manager (or mitigating experience) Safety Training (minimum OSHA 10 hour). Building experience. with large jobs preferably $50 - 100 million or more. Experience in prestressed concrete use in vertical construction. Demonstrated knowledge of multiple project delivery methods, including but not limited to Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and CMR contracts and their execution. Knowledge of and experience in reviewing and understanding a contractor’s Safety Plan and QC Plan. Must also have experience in reviewing and overseeing a Document Control Plan, and development/utilization of a Project Procedures Manual. Previous experience directing, coordinating, and supervising a CM field staff including multiple Resident Engineers, Assistant Resident Engineers, Project/Office Engineers, Document Control Clerks, and Field Inspectors. Knowledge of scheduling, spreadsheet, document, and database software (such as PMWeb, P6, Microsoft Office package, and others).

Demonstrated knowledge of multiple project delivery methods, including but not limited to Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and CMR contracts and their execution. Knowledge of and experience in reviewing and understanding a contractor’s Safety Plan and QC Plan. Must also have experience in reviewing and overseeing a Document Control Plan, and development/utilization of a Project Procedures Manual. Previous Construction experience on an Airport project is a plus but not required.
