Lead Teacher for two year old room

Job Description

Actively looking for qualified, energetic, early childhood LEAD teacher for our daycare center located infront of green level high school. Must have atleast 1 year experience in childcare as lead teacher. Must have EDU-119, equivalency of EDU-119 or any associate or higher degree.

Job Requirements:

· Must meet basic requirements stipulated by the state of North Carolina for the role including background checks (7 point lead status highly preferable for lead teachers); Willing to train and assist assistant teachers to get lead teacher status

· Enjoys & expresses genuine interest in children; able to develop relationships with children, families and staff members

· Previous teaching experience at a licensed child care center preferred

· Positive attitude, dependable and team player!
