Summary/Objective: Ironwave Technologies is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Technical Sales Territory Manager to drive sales growth within assigned territories and across the Ironwave portfolio of companies. The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing RF sales strategies, cultivating client relationships, and achieving revenue targets in alignment with company objectives.

You will be required to complete training in Columbia, MD and Manassas, VA. After training is completed, this is a remote position that will require you to be engaging with clients virtually or in person. You will be required to come into the Columbia, MD office 2-4 times per month.

Responsibilities:

Territory Management: Manage assigned territories effectively, including prospecting, lead generation, and customer relationship management.

Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximize revenue opportunities and market penetration within assigned territories.

Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.

Technical Expertise: Demonstrate deep understanding of Ironwave Technologies' products and services, effectively articulating their value proposition to clients.

Pipeline Management: Manage sales pipeline and opportunities, tracking progress and providing regular updates to management.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, engineering, and technical support, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.

Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform sales strategies and tactics.

Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to senior management, contributing to strategic decision-making.

Training and Development: Continuously enhance product knowledge and sales skills through training and professional development opportunities.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all sales activities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Technical background preferred.

Proven track record of success in RF technical sales roles, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in government or Department of Defense industry.

Strong understanding of RF technical products and solutions, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to clients.

Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to close deals and achieve sales targets.

Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to sales and territory management.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.

Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.

Willingness to travel as required.

Travel to conferences, expos, and customer/rep meetings required.

Good organizational and analytical skills

Ability to excel in a hybrid work environment.
