Responsibilities:

Prepare and dispense medication orders per physician request according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.

Ensure safe, appropriate, cost-effective medication therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.

Contribute to the quality and effective operation of the pharmacy.

Prepare sterile compounds and maintain the pharmacy clean room suite to 797 requirements.

Verify medication stock and enter data in computer to maintain inventory records.

Help maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Support the pharmacys pharmacological services by adhering to infection-control protocols, and participating in pharmacotherapy and diagnostic stewardship.

Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members to optimize the quality of patient care.

Shift:

Weekdays: 11:30am -7:30pm

Weekends: 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Qualifications:

Pharmacy experience.

IV certification required.

AL Pharmacistlicense.
