Our international food manufacturing client is in the process of expanding their team in Harahan, Louisiana! This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and respected company with international travel 1-2 times per year. The primary function of this role will be to handle and analyze customer orders, maintain all shipping records, international requirements for delivery and deal with any inquiries related to the customer and their order. This position offers an exciting opportunity for growth and development in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and efficient processing of customer orders

• Maintenance of detailed and accurate customer and shipping records

• Handling and resolving customer inquiries in a professional manner

• Monitoring customer shipping accounts regularly and taking appropriate actions to follow up on all inquiries in a timely manner

• Collaborating with the sales team to provide detailed sales analysis and reporting

• Utilizing MS Excel to manage and analyze data

• Learning all aspects of operations, sales, and customer service to contribute to the overall efficiency of the team

• Maintaining a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of the role

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for regular contact with executive management, private investors, and reporting agencies.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with a strong work ethic and positive personality

• Proven ability in customer service with a love for all things New Orleans

• Proficiency in using MS Excel for data analysis and reporting

• Strong analytical skills

• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and internal teams

• Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field is preferred

• Demonstrated experience in financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis

• Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market, and business environments

• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects

• Excellent time management and organizational ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume environment

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure, use good judgment, and be resourceful in problem-solving
