Job Overview: As an IV Pharmacist, you will be essential in preparing and dispensing medication with precision and care. This position requires a deep understanding of sterile compounding procedures and adherence to all regulatory guidelines. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care and service.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately prepare, label, and dispense IV medications and treatments.

Ensure the sterility and stability of all products prepared.

Comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding pharmacy practices including compounding standards and storage requirements.

Perform medication order verification while checking for potential interactions and contraindications.

Maintain meticulous records of all medications prepared and dispensed.

Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.

Manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of necessary medication supplies.

Provide oversight and guidance to pharmacy technicians to ensure accuracy in the preparation and dispensing of medications.

Participate in the ongoing review and implementation of standard operating procedures and quality improvement measures.

Shift:

Weekdays: 11:30am -7:30pm

Weekends: 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Requirements:

Pharmacy experience.

IV certification required.

AL Pharmacistlicense.
