Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented IV Pharmacist to join our dynamic team in Daphne, Alabama. This mid-shift role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to further their career in pharmacy services with a focus on intravenous medication preparation and delivery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate compounding and dispensing of medications and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

Prepare medications including IV admixtures, TPNs, and other sterile products following established protocols and guidelines.

Ensure all compounded medications are prepared in compliance with USP <797> and <795> standards.

Conduct drug utilization reviews, provide dosing recommendations, and monitor drug interactions and contraindications.

Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.

Manage pharmacy inventory and ensure proper storage conditions for medications.

Maintain accurate records of all compounded medications and patient interactions.

Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.

Shift:

Weekdays: 11:30am -7:30pm

Weekends: 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Qualifications:

Pharmacy experience.

IV certification required

AL Pharmacistlicense.
