We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in Moorestown, New Jersey. This role is within a company that operates in the telecom provider industry and requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual. The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for processing invoices and maintaining accurate records of customer credit applications, among other tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate customer credit records
• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely manner
• Monitor customer credit accounts to ensure all information is up-to-date and accurate
• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments as necessary
• Conduct regular audits of customer credit records to identify and rectify any errors
• Utilize QuickBooks for processing invoices and maintaining records
• Collaborate with the accounting team to improve processes and workflows
• Leverage coding invoices skills to ensure accurate billing.
• Possess a minimum of one year's experience in an accounting-related role.
• Proficient in coding invoices.
• Highly skilled in using QuickBooks for various accounting tasks.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
