Aquatic Cashier/Concession AQUATIC CENTER CASHIER/CONCESSIONS GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES To work at the front desk cashiering and helping with messages, customers, and employees.

This position also requires the employee to work in the concessions as a cashier, food handler and clean-up duties.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED Works under the direct supervision of the Aquatic Center Manager CATEGORY AND FLSA STATUS Temporary, Seasonal, Exempt ESSENTIAL DUTIES * Take fees paid for use of the center * Answer and direct phone calls and messages * Balance and reconcile cash drawers to register tapes each day * Place daily receipts in the safe • Perform other related duties as assigned * Prepare and distribute food to customers at concession stand * Take money for items purchased at concession stand * Duties required to keep concession area clean during and following business hours REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES * Basic computer operation experience * Counting back change to customers * Able to read and write English and count U.S.

money * Able to handle constant cue of customers, including irate ones * Able to work well with other employees * Answering multi-line phones * Ability to be able to work under supervisors who may be younger * Past experience as cashier at Rexburg Rapids and/or past food service experience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals, and high levels of noise.
