Description:

Under the supervision of the Building Principal, the Registrar is responsible for performing the following duties: 1.

Maintaining good communication and public relations with various publics including parents, students, administrators, staff, and outside public and private agencies.

2.

Maintaining the official school roster including paperwork relating to new enrollees, re-enrollees, withdrawals, and grade level changes.

3.

Analyzing and transcribing academic records of new and re-enrollees for counselors and school files.

4.

Maintaining accurate transcripts and rank in class data.

5.

Un-ranking Certification of Completion students.

6.

Answering questions from other schools regarding transcripts.

7.

Maintaining transcript archive from 1962 to present.

8.

Maintaining information regarding Blind School students.

9.

Sending records to requesting schools as necessary . 10.

Printing transcripts as necessary.

11.

Completing the withdrawal process for students.

12.

Adding credits to transcripts earned outside of North Central High School classrooms.

13.

Graduating the senior class.

14.

Perform education verifications for all past graduates.

15.

Complete forms for the Social Security Administration, Marion County Welfare, and military branches.

16.

Checking the Department of Education STN Application Center and Learning Connection Websites.

17.

Maintaining directory information for Herff Jones and the military.

18.

Adding Edmentum and online credits to transcripts.

19.

Graduation assistance.

20.

Complete state and local reports.

21.

Process Parchment requests.

22.

Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: Qualified candidates will be conscientious, well organized, well-organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and able to set priorities.

They will be self-starting and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Proficiency in the use of all office equipment required.

Experience with Microsoft applications such as Word, EXCEL, and PowerPoint is mandatory.

Knowledge of FMS, Skyward, Time Clock, and Smart Data is a plus.

Candidates must be able to communicate and interact tactfully and professionally with staff and various public members, including parents, students, teachers, building-level and central office administrators, community patrons, and public and private agencies.
