Accounting Associate - Managerial

Position Identification * Job Title - Managerial Accounting Associate * Job Function - Accounting * Report to - Corporate Management Team General Manager Job Purpose * Analyze budgeting and accounting reports for the purpose of maintaining expenditure controls.

* Add value and improve operations by bringing a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

Key Accountabilities * Direct the preparation of regular and special budget reports * Provide advice and technical assistance with cost analysis, fiscal allocation, and budget preparation * Summarize budgets and submit recommendations for the approval or disapproval of funds requests * Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings * Seek and identify new ways to improve efficiency and increase profits * Required periodic evaluations and reports regarding the efficacy of internal control procedures and a list of any deficiencies in the current procedures Level of Accountabilities * Individual contributor * Team player Core Competencies * Must be computer literate, especially Microsoft EXCEL * Knowledge of SAP a plus * Must be detail oriented Qualifications * Bachelor degree required * Bachelor degree in accounting preferred * Availability and clearance to travel internationally * Overnight travel required (sporadic, approximately twice per quarter) * 1-3 years of corporate accounting preferred * General knowledge of accounting in corporate environment required
