Lead Consultant, Project Controls

This Opportunity WSP is seeking a Lead Consultant, Project Controls for our New York City office.

Your Impact Job Duties: * Responsible for Developing, updating, and analyzing detailed execution schedules for big programs including buildings and infrastructure projects in Primavera P6.

* Prepare monthly updates, create variance reports * Identify schedule activities that control the overall construction time or the critical path * Assessment of contractor monthly schedule updates and supporting analysis of time delay claim * Perform time impact analyses (TIA) and forensic delay analysis to determine the extent of the impacts of potential delays during construction * Identify and measure the impact any change has on a project(s) schedule * Communicate and provide recommendations to resolve schedule, scope changes or delays to the Project Team and Executive Management * Conducting baseline schedule reviews of all sub-contractors' baseline schedules Who You Are Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience * 7 -10 years' experience in developing and managing building and infrastructure projects.

* High level Experience using the critical path method technique with Primavera.

* High level of experience in schedule preparation, schedule integration and variance analysis.

* Experience with claim analysis and EVMS * Experience managing/ leading teams.

* Experience working with large and challenging teams.

* Proven experience in effectively reporting and communicating schedule variances and recommendations to wider project team.

* Experience in preparing high level project reports and documentation.
