This individual must be able to successfully demonstrate the essential functions and responsibilities as specified in the departmental competencies.# Individual must meet/exceed the criteria based performance appraisal.# Employee must be conscientious with regard to procedures and capable of accepting pressure assignments, clerical assignments, and all duties relative to the department.# Employee must be capable of interacting professionally with other employees and departments within the hospital.

# EDUCATION # EXPERIENCE Graduate from an Accredited Surgical Technology Program or completed IAHCSMM instrument of patient care certification program for CRCST/CIS.# Must have one year in Sterile Supply as an Instrument Tech II or scrubbing experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES # REGISTRATIONS High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology Program as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or a Sterile Supply CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician)/CIS (Certified Instrument Specialist) or a CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution).
