Job Description
Our busy dermatology practice is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team!
Duties:
Collecting co-pays and deductibles, balancing at the end of the day
Patient scheduling, reminder calls, and follow-up calls
Follow up on insurance referrals
Checking emails, faxing, general clerical work
Checking patients in/out
Checking schedules to make sure we are keeping provider's schedules full
Qualifications:
Must be a team player, able to follow directions, and eager to learn
Must have integrity and accuracy when entering and reporting numbers, names, and results
Possess strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Must have strong computer, typing, and technology skills
Demonstrate a professional presence
Have a positive attitude to maximize quality patient care
Demonstrate patient advocacy and conflict resolution skills for patients of all ages and backgrounds
MUST be able to show up to shift on time
Must have basic understanding and appreciation of the following and why they are critical in a successful clinic: HIPAA, OSHA, billing, collections, insurance referrals, authorizations, eligibility, benefits, deductibles, out of pocket, and co-insurance details
Job Type:
Full-time: Monday through Friday, Monday and Thursday unitl 6pm
Experience:
1+ year of Medical Receptionist experience preferred but will train the right candidate
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent

N/A
Pay:
$20.00 per hour
