Job Function

Reporting into the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Senior Recruiter will be hybrid out of our corporate office in Houston, TX. This individual will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and attracting candidates to assessing their qualifications and negotiating offers. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in talent acquisition, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Sourcing and Talent Acquisition: Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals, to identify and attract top talent. Proactively build talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.

Screening and Selection: Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidate qualifications against job requirements. Coordinate and conduct interviews, both in-person and virtual, to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.

Collaboration and Relationship Building: Work closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand staffing requirements, clarify job descriptions, and establish recruitment priorities. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on hiring strategies and objectives.

Candidate Experience: Provide a positive and engaging experience for all candidates throughout the recruitment process. Keep candidates informed of their status and provide feedback when necessary. Ensure a smooth and efficient interview process for both candidates and hiring managers.

Offer Negotiation and Closing: Extend job offers to selected candidates and negotiate terms of employment, including compensation, benefits, and start dates. Coordinate with HR and other departments to facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.

Owning ad hoc projects as it relates to the function

Required Experience:

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree. Preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

8+ years of proven experience as a Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Specialist

Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, including sourcing techniques, candidate assessment methods, and employment laws.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and internal stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, and other recruitment software/tools. Specifically Workday.

Certification in HR or recruiting (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, LinkedIn Recruiter) is a plus.

Agency recruiting experience is a plus

Bilingual in spanish is a plus
