Technical Expert - Worst Case Circuit Analysis for Full-Service Supplier ECUs.

Technical Expert - Worst Case Circuit Analysis for Full-Service Supplier ECUs.

What you'll do… * Lead Ford electronic module worst case circuit analysis (WCCA) assessments with supplier design teams.

* Lead analysis of external electronic module input/output circuits, voltage regulators, driver circuits, etc.

* Review supplier analysis and documentation and perform formal signoff of analysis and validation data.

* Lead technical reviews with suppliers to ensure compliance to design requirements.

* Document failure modes and feedback to improved design requirements.

* Lead Ford Worst case analysis best practices and ensure Ford is using optimized tools.

* Specify minimum supplier analysis requirements and approve supplier specific analysis methods.

* Specify analysis and reporting requirements for Ford WCCA engineers.

* Drive continuous improvement in circuit verification processes.

* Implement tool improvements with Ford and supplier partners.

* Lead CAE analysis on complex supplier circuits and secondary verification of supplier analyzed complex circuits.

* Verify actual circuit performance matches the modeling result.

* Lead requirement document authoring and lead circuit technical reviews.

* Author detailed analysis requirement documents with measures of success.

* Develop processes which evaluate design early and identify risk issues at the inception of the design.

* Support Subsystem FMEAs and ensure key failure modes are checked in requirements.

* Develop supplier review checklist documents for program reviews by module design and worst-case analysis engineers.

* Capture and codify WCCA lessons learned.

* Lead warranty and program design issue resolution.

* Lead the resolution of functional abnormalities observed in module designs.

* Lead warranty investigation of field issues.

* Work with suppliers on requested design change analyses.

* Conduct Deep Dive Audits of data results at key vehicle program milestones.

* Audit CAE and physical test data with suppliers.

* Ensure testing was performed to expected standards and test requirements.

* Audit program level verification evidence to ensure program compliance to necessary data requirements.

* Review early program assumptions and identify new potential noise factors, customer usage, and failure modes risks.

* Ensure Ford and industry lessons learned are documented in the associated quality history.

* Confirm all Design Rules & Requirements have been assessed at key milestones.

* Lead the creation of and conduct training, seminars, mentoring to support Ford internal team members to develop a broader worst case analysis capability.
