For information about ABM's benefits, visit Essential Functions: * Ability to troubleshoot, calibrate and adjust pilots, thermostats and burners, transformers, controls, relays, heaters, elements, switches, and controls on electrical systems.
* Ability to use the tools of the trade (e.g.
multimeter, refrigerant gauges, charging charts, hand tools etc.) Responsibilities: * Installs, maintains, and repairs ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
* Identifies maintenance risks on equipment.
* Diagnoses electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
* Cleans, adjusts, and repairs systems, and performs warranty services.
* Performs emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
* Provides technical direction and on-the-job training.
* Keeps daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
* Ensures compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act * Complies with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
* Assists with customers' queries.
* Completes other duties as assigned.
* Work truck is provided.
Qualifications: * Must be 18 years of age or older.
* Commercial HVAC Service experience * Preventative Maintenance, diagnose issues on all units, troubleshooting with mechanical/electrical.
* Refrigeration/HVAC Trade or Vocational certification required.
* 5+ years' experience as an HVAC technician, and willingness to continue education in HVAC field.
* Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available.
* Customer Service Experience focused.
