Position Summary: Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC equipment.
Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks and inspections on HVAC equipment.
Education, License & Cert: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: 2 years prior experience working in the HVAC trade.
Essential Functions: * Ability to read and understand engineering drawings including wiring, architecture, and sequences.
* Install, service, maintain, regulate, and repair mechanical equipment including but not limited to, hydronic heat pumps and associated mechanical piping and controls.
Cooling Towers.
Packaged and split system RTU's and air handling equipment.
* Perform Preventative Maintenance procedures to clean air conditioning as well as heating equipment.
Including coils, condensate pans, drain lines, and cooling towers.
* Coordinate with Facilities Manager, Supervisor, and other trades for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently.
* Ability to work independently with little direct supervision.
* Maintains Vehicle, tools, and equipment in a safe working condition.
* Requests equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of items required to complete the necessary installation and/or repair.
* Perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on building automation system and associated components.
Coordinate work with controls vendor as needed.
Other Duties: Travel to regional offices is required.
* After hours and weekend emergency call required.
