Under general supervision, assists faculty members with classroom/lab instruction, exams, record keeping, adherence to safety procedures, tracking attendance and other miscellaneous tasks related to instruction as assigned.
Prior to class prepares classroom/lab in accordance to lab manuals and/or faculty members.
Assist with facilitating lab activities.
Cleans classroom/lab in accordance to program policies.
* Ability to serve as a tutor or mentor students * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Excellent interpersonal skills * Proficient computer skill and ability to learn new computer programs * Attention to detail and acuity * Creative and innovative * Adaptability and flexible Minimum Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent * Active EMT or higher certification * Active AHA BLS certification * Ability to obtain AHA BLS Instructor certification within 12 months of hire date.
Preferred Qualifications: * Associates Degree or higher * Active AHA BLS Instructor certification * At least one EMS "specialty" instructor certification (ACLS, PALS, PHTLS, etc.) * Level I Instructor certifications (either North Carolina or NAEMSE) * 3-5 years EMS field experience An ACC on-line application MUST be fully completed for consideration.
