Provides customer service, processing both business and individual banking transactions. Responsible for managing a cash fund, and maintaining and promoting customer relationships.
Basic Responsibilities Required Skills and Qualifications
Process customer cash transactions in either the bank lobby or drive-up windows
Perform regulatory functions for those transactions which require them, such as Reg CC and BSA forms
Responsible for daily balancing of a cash drawer Sell Cashier's Checks and Money Orders Redeem Savings Bonds
Preparation of daily teller work for routing to Bank Operations Department
Provide customer service that builds customer relationships, cross-sell bank products, and assist customers with problem resolution
Approximately six months prior teller experience or experience in positions requiring heavy cash handling and balancing
Ability to communicate with customers in a clear, concise, and professional manner
Basic PC experience, including Microsoft Windows 10
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to recognize and differentiate colors
Extensive customer contact requiring proven skills in building relationships, which enhance the overall marketing effort of the Bank.
