Atlanta Technical College is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Adjunct Accounting Instructor.

This position includes a focus on personal finance, providing students with essential financial literacy skills to navigate their personal and professional lives successfully.

Duties and Responsibilities: * Develops course syllabus for each course assigned based on ATC criteria.

The syllabus will include learning objectives expressed in behavioral terms * Distribute syllabus to campus administration and enrolled online students * Instructs the depth and scope of class materials as outlined in the syllabus and catalog, relates instruction to careers and employee satisfaction and standards * Prepare and grade exams based on course objectives and published scheduled exams, and returns all assignments/graded work in a timely manner * Implements evaluation for outcomes assessments, and achieves established results while maintaining college standards and student satisfaction * Work creatively in all assigned courses to keep students engaged online which will increase student retention * Provide tutorial assistance and academic advising for all students when needed * Submit midterm and final grades at the appropriate time of the quarter * Perform additional job-related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: Minimum qualifications for this position will be determined by the teaching discipline and compliance with appropriate accrediting bodies.

Faculty must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for the course assigned Qualifications: * Master's degree or higher in accounting or a related field.

Demonstrated Experience in teaching accounting, personal finance, or related subjects.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse learning environment.

Knowledge of current accounting principles, practices, and software.

* Ability to engage and motivate students in the learning process.
