Position Overview: Under the direction of the Registrar, the AR is the primary professional staff position within the Office of the University who is responsible for the administration and maintenance of the Student Information System as it applies to the Registrar area; acts as primary liaison with the Division of Information Technology (DTS); prepares and analyzes all reports and other analytical information in support of the Registrar function to appropriate constituents; works closely with university stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting to NSC, NSLDS, and other agencies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Serves as primary liaison for all aspects of enrollment, reporting to the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) and National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) for the University.

Develop and maintain transmission schedule, coordinate transmission of student enrollment data with DTS, and provide timely data resolution.

Works closely with Financial Aid and Student Accounts to support bi-monthly enrollment reporting.

Provides student information to the Director of Financial aid in support of the University's annual A-133 audit.

* Facilitate the integration of new and changing programs into current operational structures; identify operational challenges and opportunities in response to new initiatives and shifting priorities; develop and recommend policy, process, and resource changes needed to achieve program and project goals.

* Develop and apply expert knowledge of systems and data flows to support Registrar's Office efforts to improve student services; recommend changes with an eye toward sustainability and student experience.

* Support the Registrar's Office in the implementation of new SIS and other third-party applications.

Maintains communication with LeopardWeb staff in DTS for updates to the student system- thoroughly tests all new functions prior to launch and responds to any issues related to student registration and other initiatives as needed.

* Works closely with Associate Registrar of Student Operations for New Student Orientation: Reporting, organization, and coordination of all aspects related to registration, check-in, attendees, change of major, no-shows, and follow-up with Admissions and Students programs.

* In conjunction with the Associate Registrar of Student Operations, develops and conducts a series of training models to meet the needs of the students and community according to the Academic Calendar.

* Oversite and Coordinate Start and End of Term Processes by generating reports specific to SOT and EOT with the Associate Registrar of Student Operations and the Assistant Director of Scheduling and Curriculum.

* Create and analyze complex reports to streamline enrollment and academic planning processes.

Lead student information systems implementation and support; assist in establishing short- and long-term technology priorities and implementation plans for key initiatives.

* Collaborate with Registrar in formulating registrar policies and procedures; build and maintain relationships with the school and across the University; ensure compliance with university policies and procedures and applicable legal rules and regulations.

* Responsible for training front-line staff on University Registrar's operations, business practices, and university academic policies and procedures.

Ensures staff have the appropriate equipment and supplies to perform their job.

* Supervise and support Assistant Director of Degree Operations and Assistant Director of Scheduling and Curriculum to enhance the university graduation and scheduling process.

* Represents the Registrar at various meetings as needed.

Current Technologies and Projects: Ellucian Self-Service Banner 9 (SIS, registration), CAPP (degree audit), EAB Navigate (advising), CourseLeaf (Catalog, Class Scheduling), Argos (Banner data reporting), National Student Clearinghouse (Transcript, Verification), CourseLeaf (Curriculum) Launch in Fall 2024 Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree * A minimum of 5 years experience in Higher Education * A minimum of advanced level of integrated student information system: Banner is preferred Preferred Qualifications: * Master's Degree * Minimum of 5 years of increasingly responsible operations experience utilizing computing hardware, software, and design in technical or professional analysis and resulting program implementation.

* Demonstrated ability to use a variety of software systems, including but not limited to: site design, working knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced experience with Excel; WEB site design, working knowledge of a BI tool, i.e., ARGOS/SQL DEVELOPER/COGNOS/TOAD and hands-on experience in performing multi-faceted and complex data queries.

* Ability to adapt quickly to changing technology * Assist in the development of automation of current processes in the Registrar's Office.
