AIT Technician - Environmental Testing (2nd Shift)

Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced AIT Technician - Environmental Testing to join our growing team.

As a technician for Environmental Test Laboratory (ETL), you will be responsible for environmental test processes for a wide range of components/modules and spacecraft level vibration and thermal vacuum testing.

The person in this position will assist with installation of equipment; operation and maintenance of vibrations tables, vacuum chambers, and other test equipment; assisting with process documentation and controls; perform testing and certification of the test equipment.

Additionally, supporting spacecraft build and testing as time allows between ETL test scheduling.

This shift will run from 2:30 PM to 11 PM.

Key Duties and Responsibilities * Set up and operate test equipment which may include but not be limited to vibration tables, vacuum chambers, thermal chambers, and other test equipment.

* Performs functions that include test troubleshooting, basic equipment maintenance, coordination with test engineers, and engagement with management on daily test activities.

* Clean machines, equipment, and work areas according to site standard practices and management guidance.

Qualification and Skills * High School Diploma or GED equivalent with at least 2 years of experience in related tasks.

* Knowledge/experience in manufacturing and test processes and procedures.

* Strong ability to comprehend technical work instructions.

* Experience with drawings, shop orders, and detailed work instructions.

* Experience with test electronic, hydrostatic, and pneumatic test equipment.

* Experience with various types of gages, instruments and measuring devices.
