Job Summary Job Summary Under supervision of a licensed clinician, the trainee will provide individual, parent support and group counseling to BUSD students in grades K-12.

Trainees will be a part of a comprehensive mental health team that will collaborate and support each other while providing mental health interventions for students with social and emotional challenges, either in an individual session or group setting.

Will be responsible for parent and student intakes as well as possible observations and reviewing school records to formulate treatment plans.

Will collaborate with the mental health team to identify and create counseling groups or curriculum to implement and support the different needs on campuses.

Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with parents, staff, and teachers as needed while maintaining confidentiality.

Professional Requirements: Working towards a Master's Degree in related field and in at least their second year of their program.
