Diesel Mechanic

Overview Field Equipment Mechanic Location: Franklin Yard- Denver, CO Area: Transportation/Shop Wage Range: $30-40 per hour depending on experience Requirements: * Self motivated, able to work with minimal supervision and little direction * Be on time to work as agreed upon * Must have heavy equipment experience on CAT, Volvo, Komatsu, Etc * Proficient with electrical and hydraulic schematics * Proficient with diagnosing engines, electrical, drivetrain, and hydraulics first time * Proficient with repairing engines, electrical, drivetrain, and hydraulic systems * Attention and commitment to safety * Understands crane operation and rigging for removing components * Maintains truck and crane inspections * Maintains service vehicle in good working order.

* Other duties as assigned * Ability to work outside in hot and cold weather, rain and snow * Basic welding and oxy cutting skills Competencies: * minimum of 5 years experience * Able to lift heavy objects * Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel * Data entry, telephone, organizational and communication skills * Will travel if needed for short periods of time * Must be at least 18 years of age WW Clyde Is An Equal Employment/Affirmative Action Employer
