Commercial Door Technician

WILLING TO TRAVEL ON A 10-DAY ROTATION Year-Round Work - Commercial Door Technician - $60/day Per Diem!

Remedi8 is hiring Commercial Door Technicians to perform inspections, repairs and installations of commercial fire/smoke doors, frames, and hardware within existing hospitals nationwide.

This position is full-time, year-round work, must be willing to travel 100% and based out of San Antonio.

Company Website: Experience: * 1+ years of finish carpentry experience * Plus, but not required, previous construction, painting, caulking, insulation, and drywall finish work Preferred Skills: * Commercial door/hardware repair and installation * Understanding of computers and computer software (Microsoft Office) * Experience in reading blue prints/schematics * Safety protocol (Osha 10) Essential Functions/Responsibilities: * Install/Repair/Inspect fire door frames, doors, locksets, exit devices, closers, and related hardware to ensure proper operation * Read/understand construction drawings to locate and identify scope of work * Inspect firestop barriers with high attention to detail per NFPA requirements and document inspection results using a tablet * Ensure professional appearance and respectful interactions with all customers, staff, and general public * Assist with other scopes as needed Requirements: * Flexible with schedule changes - some evening, night or weekend shifts based on client requests * Submit a TB test, vaccination blood tests & vaccinations (Flu, MMR, Varicella, etc.) * Valid Drivers License and be eligible to rent a vehicle (21+ years old) * Must be able to travel nationwide on a 10 day on, 4 day off rotation continuously * Able to lift up to 50lbs on occasion Compensation/Perks: * Weekly pay (direct deposit) * Healthcare, dental, and vision plans * 401K with company match program * PTO, paid holidays, and balanced work schedules * Additional $60/day per diem if traveling.
