Our client, a highly regarded law firm in Delaware with a diverse business practice, is seeking an Associate to join their Corporate Litigation team.

This practice group is a nationally recognized and growing team.

The ideal candidate has three years of litigation experience.

Excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and team-oriented atmosphere and to work on high profile matters in the Delaware Court of Chancery.

Duties include, but are not limited to: * Draft complaints, answers, discovery requests and responses, motions and briefs.

* Handling summary proceedings, alternative entity litigation, commercial business disputes and corporate counseling.

* High profile litigated matters including disputes of corporate governance and fiduciary duties of directors, officers and stockholders of corporations in the context of a wide variety of corporate transactions, including mergers, tender offers, sales of assets, recapitalizations, reorganizations, liquidations, and proxy fights.

Qualifications: * Three to five years of litigation experience.

* Court of Chancery experience preferred.

* Strong writing skills necessary to draft complaints, answers, discovery requests and response, motions and briefs.

* Strong research and oral communication skills.

* Admission to Delaware Bar, or willingness to take the Delaware Bar.
