Responsibilities What you'll be challenged to do: Entry-level position for a person with basic operational understanding of computer graphics and drafting.

General Duties & Responsibilities (include the following.

Others may be assigned): * Creates CAD sheets from sketches, layouts and drawings prepared by others.

* Will learn proficiency in operation of various Bentley and AutoDesk CAD software.

* Assignments of increasing difficulty will be expected as proficiency is increased.

* Understand and follow TranSystems and specific Client standard CAD procedures for levels, line styles, etc., and standard drawing procedures for sheet layout.

* Understand and follow TranSystems QA/QC process to ensure quality plans.

* Maintain neat and orderly physical and digital work environment that is conducive to efficient work sharing with other team members.

* Individual is flexible and may work with numerous project teams to help in project completion.

* Will learn basic bridge, culvert and retaining wall types, terminology, and functions.

* Will learn to detail objects with multiple views and the appropriate number of dimensions.

* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.

* Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Teams; Bentley or AutoDesk required.

* Actively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members.

What we'd prefer for you to bring to our firm: * Associates degree in related field preferred.

* Knowledge of Revit, Adobe and Bluebeam recommended.

* No certifications required.

Certifications like E-Rail safe and OSHA-10 may be required during employment.
