Job Summary: Responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment in new construction residential homes following manufacturer specifications, industry codes and standards, and company requirements.
Supervisory Responsibilities: * None.
Duties/Responsibilities: * Installation of ductwork in residential new construction homes.
* Installation of HVAC equipment, thermostats, grilles, piping, and bath fans in new residential construction homes.
* Maintain quality standards on all installations and tasks.
* Always maintain safety standards.
* Prepare operational reports.
* Update job-related knowledge or skills.
* Communicate with other personnel to discuss project details.
* Must be willing to operate a company vehicle.
* All other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Skills/Abilities: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* A Valid Driver's License and clean Motor Vehicle Report.
* Skilled in the use of hand tools, testing equipment, and safe installation of new and replacement parts.
* Must be self-motivated and driven to get the job done quickly and to the best of their ability.
* Must possess hand tools and power tools to execute job duties.
* Must complete tasks, as assigned, within the company's standard timeframe.
* Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods.
* Physical dexterity.
Education and Experience: * High school diploma or equivalent required.
* 1 year of experience installing duct or equipment without assistance in residential homes.
Physical Requirements: * Must be able to lift up to 50 to 100 lbs.
at times.
