Role description: Arcadis is looking for an experienced Electrical Trade Inspector to join our growing Northern California Construction Management team!

This position is a full-time on-site project role that will be based out of our San Francisco office.

The Electrical Trade Inspector will support a variety of MEP construction projects that may include water/wastewater, chemical or manufacturing equipment installation; and start-up/commissioning and coordination with electrical power distribution systems conduit and wiring; voice/tele/data systems; instrumentation and control systems; for all Plant systems.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in performing and coordinating of trade work construction; reviewing and responding to Contractor RFI's, shop drawings/submittals and as-built drawing preparation; and coordination of required inspections.

The Electrical Trade Inspector will work closely with Assistant Resident Engineers, senior inspectors, Contractor superintendents, design team representatives and other CM Team staff.

Role accountabilities: * Provide overall quality of work and coordination of trade work construction; conducting detailed inspections of electrical trade construction based on deep, firsthand installation experience as a journeyman electrician.

* Perform detailed inspections of conduit and wiring installation, terminations, splices in junction boxes, panelboards and cable trays.

* Work with the Start-Up Engineers for testing procedures, start-up and commissioning protocols, to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and ordinances.

* Review plans for assigned projects, confirm required inspections of ongoing construction and perform field inspections of trade work as needed, attends pre-construction conferences, progress meetings, and safety meetings.

* Provide coordination of information both written and verbal, to contractors, client staff, Arcadis staff, and outside agencies.

* When performing daily inspection of active projects, Electrical Trade Inspector will be required to monitor project safety guidelines.

Any non-compliant activities will be reported to the Chief Inspector or Assistant Resident Engineer.

Qualifications & Experience: Required Qualifications: * 10 or more years of commercial electrical installation experience as a journeyman electrician performing commercial or industrial installations.

* Valid Driver's License Preferred Qualifications: * 15+ years of commercial electrical installation as a journeyman or foreman electrician performing commercial or industrial installations.

Experience inspection work performed by other electricians as a foreman is desirable.

* Possession of a California Electrician License.

* Any college-level coursework is a plus.

The salary range for this position is $107,000 - $133,000.
