Electrical Service Technician Metro Power is looking for Electrical Service Technicians in Warner Robins, GA.

to install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems & associated equipment in commercial and industrial environments while adhering to the National Electric Code (NEC) and equipment specifications.

Using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, cable testers, thermal scanners, and ammeters, Service Technicians are required to identify electrical problems and recommend repairs safely and effectively.

The person in this role must be able to interpret blueprints and schematics, possess a solutions-based mindset, and exhibit professionalism during interactions with business owners & operators.

Additional duties include documenting interactions with clients, working with colleagues in a team environment, and any other tasks necessary to build and grow the department.

* Our main service area is Robins Air Force Base and requires that the Technician pass a government background check to access the base daily.* Field Work Requirements: * Troubleshoot electrical systems and complete repairs in accordance with applicable electrical codes, standards, and equipment specifications.

* Professionally install rigid and EMT raceways.

* Possess a strong knowledge of and ability to use electrical equipment, materials, and commonly used hand & power tools.

* Perform all electrical work in a safe and efficient manner with minimal general supervision.

* Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprint and schematics.

* Collect and document relevant project information.

* Supervise assigned job site employees to complete project.

* Administrative Responsibilities: * Use existing technology to perform supply and material inventories, reordering when needed and authorized to do so.

* Correspond with clients and team members via email and text.

* Review plans and specifications to create an effective strategy for work to be completed.

* Quantify, monitor, and report progress of work to supervisors.

* Maintain company vehicle by keeping it clean and in good working order.

* Code time sheets appropriately and submit expense reports as directed.

Qualifications & Requirements: * Current Driver's License and reliable transportation - Required.

* High school graduate, General Education Development (GED) or equivalent education - Required.

* Minimum 5 years of previous electrical experience - Required.

* Completion of electrical apprenticeship - Preferred * Must have a desire to work in a team-based environment and contribute immediately.

* Positive and safety conscious attitude with personal integrity - both are non-negotiable.
