Job Title Electrician - Maintenance Location Main Campus - Dayton, OH Job Number 04884 Department Facilities Management Job Category Support Job Type Full-Time Status Regular Job Open Date 04/09/2024 Resume Review Date Ongoing Closing Date 05/20/2024 Open Until Filled No Position Summary This position assures that Sinclair's electrical systems remain free of hazards that prevent efficient and safe operations, by maintaining the electrical life safety systems through regular maintenance and preventive maintenance measures.

The salary for this position is $43,940- $58,586.

Salary is determined commensurate with experience.

* Engineer, design, install, and maintain electrical building systems and raceway distribution systems.

Medium voltage system 15,000 volts, low voltage systems under 600 volts.

* Oversee that work is done in a safe and workmanlike manner, to include inspection for compliance with National Electric Code, Sinclair specifications, and other applicable codes.

Oversee work performed by contractors * Maintain all electrical distribution equipment * Respond to all emergency situations and make repairs as necessary.

Report serious problems to the Supervisor of Maintenance.

Will be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week * Secure specific information by personal analysis for troubleshooting, repair, installation and future needs.

* Assist in Telecom duties: Raceway design, installation, and the updating of drawing and records * Repair appliances in food service areas Requirements * A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent required * Minimum of 10 years' documented work experience as a Journeyman Electrician required * Must have State of Ohio Fire Alarm Licensure required * Previous work experience and technical knowledge in the following areas preferred: data systems power, fire alarms, clock systems, high voltage distribution systems, motor controls,pumps, restaurant equipment, machine shop equipment, HVAC equipment, kilns, pottery making equipment, light dimming systems, elevators, new and innovative techniques, preventive maintenance procedures, continuing; * Ability to use Microsoft Office to include Outlook and Word preferred * Ability to meet the demand of a Mission Essential Employee with 24/7 on call duties required * Ability to work a flexible schedule required Supplemental Questions Required fields are indicated with an asterisk . * * Do you have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent?
