Primary Functions: Perform all required repairs on boilers, vats, pressure vessels and steam systems according to blueprint and system specifications.

Open and close boilers for annual inspections.

Key Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but not limited to: * Basic knowledge of mechanical workings of fire tube and water tube boilers and connected associated utility piping.

* Repair or replace tube sheets.

Roll or weld tube ends.

* Make repairs to gas trains and feed water piping systems.

* Mount or retrofit burners to boilers using wrenches, cutting torch or welder.

* Perform annual inspections on different types of boilers.

* Follow preventative maintenance schedules and perform routine system maintenance and repair, including dis-assembly, cleaning and re-assembly.

* Document preventive maintenance and repair as required.

* Maintain accurate records of completed work and materials used.

Complete * Perform all work within the confines of Brandt's safety rules and regulations.

* May install or repair refractory brick or tile.

* Locates and marks reference points for water columns and low water cut off.

* Perform additional assignments as requested/needed.

Qualifications: * 3+ years' on-the-job experience in the repair, maintenance, and operation of large commercial boilers and steam generation systems * Valid Texas Driver License and clean driving record * Proper use of rigging equipment * Basic working knowledge of computer * Understanding of blueprints and layout plans * Ability to effectively manage time and complete delegated work within specified timeframe.

* Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.

* Ability to successfully pass pre-employment drug-screen and physical tests.

* Must be available to be on stand-by or work during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

* Employment is contingent upon satisfying all jobsite-specific access requirements, with no outstanding restrictions from any jobsite or from working with any of Brandt's partnering General Contractors, Owners, Customers, etc.
