Automotive Detailer

Requirements RESPONSIBILITIES: * Inspecting vehicle for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery * Restoring using appropriate materials * Wash, wax, and buff the vehicle, clean interior and exterior windows * Applying special-purpose cleaner to remove foreign materials * Vacuum and scrub interior of vehicle using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators and cleaning devices * Clean engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment * Apply dressing on tires and tire wells * Utilize and apply Paint protection sealant to ensure lasting cleanliness of vehicles * Operate all tools in a safe manner by using proper eye, hand & body protection * Report any safety issues immediately to management * Maintaining showroom and stock vehicles in clean & presentable conditions at all times QUALIFICATIONS: * 2 years detailing experience required in one or more of the following is preferred: washing, waxing, cleaning and buffing, masking, sanding, grinding and applying paint on vehicles * Removing and replacing small parts -- carrying out minor repairs * Manual dexterity and physical stamina, lift heavy objects, and walk and stand for extended periods of time * Customer focus and attention to detail * Positive attitude & self motivator * Clean driving record is a must * Possession of valid driver's license * Ability to follow instructions and accepts constructive criticism with motivation towards improvement on job performance * Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen BENEFITS: * Medical, Dental and Vision Plan * 401 Savings plan * Training programs * Employee discounts * Paid Holidays * Paid Time off * Work Life balance * Advancement opportunities * Payroll direct deposit PAY SCALE INFORMATION: * $20.00 - $25.00/hour (BOE) * Eligible for incentives and bonuses Salary Description $50,000 - $60,000 per year
