Listed are the current available openings for immediate hire: C-Store/Seasider/Micro Market/Vending Worker General Helper Job Summary Seasider / C-Store / Micro Market / Vending General Helper will be required to work in 4 different areas of the operation.

Employees will be expected to perform all duties required at the in each area that are listed but not limited to such.

Employees must work well with all team members, temp staff, full time workers, student leads and management.

Must be respectful to staff members and all customers.

As an employee you must following all verbal and written instructions given by student leads, supervisors and management.

Quality work is expected as you performs all job duties.

It is important and expected for each employee to work as a team to get all orders, task and responsibilities completed in a timely matter & works well under stressful situations.

Must be available to work Monday through Saturday and holidays between 6am-11pm.

Must be available for all events on campus during the semester that require extended hours, nights, weekends and possibly holidays.

These special events are mandatory for all staff.

All employees are required to be prompt and on time for all posted scheduled shifts.

A minimum of 2 uniforms shirts are required to be purchased, worn at all times while on the clock, clean and taken care of.

Personal hygiene must be maintained, honor code standards must be followed and must follow all uniform requirements.

Must be able to commit to work until the Saturday after the last day of the semester, during finals and on graduation day with the exception of graduating seniors.

Primary Responsibility * Work in Stir Fry, Grill, Deli, Ice Cream stations, C-Store, Micro Market, Vending & Concessions.

* Receive training and cross trained in all work stations.

* Preparation of food, cooking and distribution of food, food handling, properly storing, safely cooking & serving of all food items.

* Receiving and properly putting away all deliveries.

* Stock, clean and organize shelves and storage * Cleaning equipment, walls, floors, windows, etc.

Daily cleaning charts.

* Properly dispose of all trash, boxes and used oil.

* Keep work areas and customers dining area clean and orderly at all times.

* Maintain sanitary work areas.

* Must interact well with staff and customers.

* Cashier responsibilities, take orders, receive payments, answer questions & resolve problems.

* Performs all duties as assigned.

Physical Demands * Uncomfortable or unpleasant working conditions.

* Temperature changes.

* Must be able to stand for a long period of time.

* Squatting, reaching, pushing or pulling up to 75lbs.

* Be in complete uniform for entirety of shift (uniform shirts, long pants to the ankle, cover toe - cover heal shoes and hat optional with hair contained properly, apron and gloves). The purpose of this General Operations Position is to get students hired and working quickly within the Operations division.

This position helps fulfill the student employment needs for the following departments and positions: * BYUH Store * Campus Safety & Security * Campus Maintenance * Campus Receiving and Distribution * Facilities Management - Work Management * Fleet Services * Grounds * Housing Maintenance * FM Key Access Specialist * Food Services * HVAC/Plumbing Maintenance Technician * Mail Center * Print Shop * Others as they become available By applying to the General Operations Position, your application can be reviewed and sent to the managers of any and all open positions within the Operations departments.
