The Office of the Registrar seeks a Senior Associate Registrar.

This is a full-time (2080 hours) exempt staff position.

The Senior Associate Registrar serves as a member of the leadership team in the Office of the Registrar.

This position has broad oversight of critical positions within the office and provides leadership for multiple units within the office.

This position is responsible for ensuring the highest level of integrity, privacy, and security in maintaining records of all past, present, and future students, and maintaining the highest level of accuracy in performing administrative processes which support students, faculty, and administration.

Primary responsibilities include supervising and managing staff positions that are responsible for daily service functions in the Office of the Registrar, overseeing daily service operations within the office, directly overseeing and supporting the certification of athletes and reporting requirements associated with membership in the NCAA Athletic Organization, directly overseeing and supporting the certification of students receiving benefits under Veterans Administration programs, providing supplemental leadership for other office operations; overseeing new and existing processes, systems, software procurements, implementations, and upgrades.

This role also also serves as project manager on IT projects.

Additionally, the Senior Associate Registrar is responsible for overseeing, planning, and preparing for registrar-related university events and representing the University Registrar and the Office of the Registrar as needed.

This position is subject to the University's verification of credentials along with other information required by law and Cedarville University policies, including the successful completion of a background check.

Position Requirements: * Master's degree preferred; Bachelor's degree required.

Preferred academic disciplines include education, management, computers, accounting, or related areas.

* Minimum of five years of professional experience in a university registrar's office with increasing responsibility.

* Prior supervisory experience and proven leadership skills * Proven experience handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity and professionalism * Excellent analytical skills * Excellent ability to communicate effectively with various internal and external constituencies * Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations (FERPA) * Strong commitment and orientation to service excellence * Expert knowledge and competency in use of an administrative student information database system; preference given to candidates with experience in the use of Ellucian/Colleague software * Competent in use of Microsoft Office software * Understanding of and appreciation for Christian higher education * Qualified applicant must be a born-again believer in Jesus Christ * Qualified applicant must agree with and be willing to abide by Cedarville University's Doctrinal Statement, Community Covenant and General Workplace Standards Learn more about the culture of Cedarville University through a faculty and staff testimonial video.
