The recruiter for this position is: Recruiter: Danielle Brock Email: The Vehicle Electronic Specialist will support the company's technical needs regarding mechanical activities in identifying viable solutions for the marketplace.

Diagnostic tools, adapters, and cables subject matter expertise will be used to bring useful features and content to products.

Location: Greensboro, NC Type: Full-time, Exempt Salary: $60,000-$90,000 Accountability Summary: * To Customers: Provide courteous and prompt service in a friendly and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities: * Act as the expert in areas of automotive, commercial vehicle, or heavy equipment diagnostic tools.

* Ability to read and understand schematics and wiring diagrams.

* Work with the Content Management Group to produce innovative features in Noregon products that present industry leading ROI to our customers.

* Must have a deep understanding of electronic vehicle systems and how they relate to one another.

* Must be able to utilize and interpret various sources of vehicle documentation to predict the impact to a vehicle for a given vehicle failure point..

* Provide input to monthly product boards on various analysis as requested.

* Provide subject matter expertise to Product Managers with respect to appropriate information and information flow within Noregon Products to ensure product features are well thought out.

* Must have a broad knowledge of other non-engine vehicle components, such as transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, and aftertreatment controllers.

Supervisory Responsibilities: * This position will not have supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment: * This job operates in a professional office environment.

The role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Education/Experience Required: * Associate degree in a Diesel technology or related field.

* Experience in working with heavy equipment network protocols, specifically data and diagnostic layers required.

* 5 years of experience as technician in heavy equipment, construction, or agricultural equipment industry required in one or more of the following environments: * Fleet Service * Dealership * Independent Repair * OEM certification(s) preferred.

Additional Eligibility Requirements: * Strong knowledge of database tools preferred-not required./li> * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

* Excellent written and oral communication skills.

* Ability to work well in a team environment.

* Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers.

* Process-oriented.

* Ability to think and work independently.

Physical Requirements: * This is largely a sedentary role; however, some on- and off-site vehicle testing and/or demonstration is required.

This would require the ability to enter heavy-duty trucks and gain access to various engine components as needed, in addition to standing, walking, reaching, kneeling, bending, and stooping, as necessary.

* Basic motor skills and manual dexterity for extensive computer usage are required.

* Sitting for extended periods of time is required.

* Talking, hearing and close vision abilities are required.

* Ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds.

* Stress may occur with changing priorities, tight deadlines, and long hours.
