Shelby Materials is looking for an intense and driven person who likes variety and working at a fast pace to fill a role in our Industrial Plant Maintenance department.

We are looking for a person who delivers precise work and has the ability to handle tasks on their own to get the job done correctly and safely.

Duties and Responsibilities Maintain Operation of Ready Mix Concrete Plants & Associated Machinery Occasional Early Mornings Required Overtime Required Daily Local Travel Involved - Work Vehicle Provided For Day Use Manage Locations Primarily North Indianapolis Skills Skills Needed Include: Be Able To Work With Minimal Direct Supervision, Mechanically Inclined Including: Power Transmissions, Conveyors, Controls, and Pneumatics Detail Oriented Welding Experience, Electrical Experience A Plus Troubleshoot Problems both Mechanical & Electrical Assertive\/Persistent\/Positive Attitude Flexible Communication Skills With Maintenance Team, Dispatchers, And Plant Personnel Qualifications Qualifications include: Concrete\/Aggregate Experience Preferred Understanding of Pneumatics and Automation Controls Construction Industry Preferred Minimum 2 years, preferred 5 years working in a mechanical or maintenance position.
